Hi Jean,

Most of my Kern ancestry came from Austria, Hungary and Germany. I
don't know of any siblings to my Kern ancestors. I have a copy of
Barbara Kern's death certificate which indicates she was born in
Hungary. My Kerns were not born in the USA. I submitted the following
in case you didn't receive it.

My GGG grandmother was Barbara Kern, born 2/15/1817 in Hungary and
died 5/20/1877 in Neenah, Wisconsin. My GGGG grandparents (Barbara's
parents) were Mathias Kern, born 1779 in Weichselboden, Steiermark,
Austria and wife Katharina Elisabetha Ringwald, born 3/4/1779. Mathias'
father (my 5G grandfather) was Andreas Kern. Andreas' wife (my 5G
grandmother) is Elisabeth Hofer. That's about all I have on the Kerns
in my family.
