Does it seem reasonable that the Joyners in North Carolina - several of the "boys" may have decided to leave North Carolina and settle elsewhere? Since mine appears in Morgan County Tennessee (close to borders) and perhaps another in AL and another in TX? I have a Friar ggg who left Claiborne Co, TN and went to CA for the gold rush, and then came back...seems like quite a feat in those days...but it would then make sense that several of the Joyner boys left and "moved along"....We don't have any idea specifically where in NC do we? anyone...out there....
