Hello all,

I have a update on this family and I am still looking for more information or descendants.

ROBERT ALONZO VAUGHAN (Son of JOHN Vaughan and Mary Whitaker) was born 1837 in Darlington District, S. C. He married LOUISA LAVANIA JOY 21 Jan 1858 in San Saba Co., TX, daughter of WILEY JOY and HULDA ELIZABETH FRAZIER. She was born 23 Aug 1840 in Pulaski Co., AR, and died 21 Sep 1895 in Galena, KS.

Children of ROBERT VAUGHAN and LOUISA JOY are:
i.DOLLY E(LIZABETH?)3 VAUGHAN, b. Dec 1865, Brownwood, Brown, Texas; d. Bef. 1910; m. ALFRED F JANUARY OR JANNARY; b. Dec 1853.
ii.WILEY R(OBERT?) VAUGHAN, b. 10 Aug 1867, Brownwood, Brown, Texas; d. 08 Dec 1923. He married ALICE JACKSON "ALLIE" MCFALLS 1891 in KS. She was born 14 Mar 1869 in Mound City, Linn, KS, and died 03 May 1949 in Joplin, Jasper, MO.
iii. CHARLES JESSE VAUGHAN, b. 08 Sep 1873, Baxter Springs, Cherokee, KS; d. 02 May 1948, Joplin, Jasper, MO. He married (1) ETTA I 1895. She was born Apr 1877 in Mo. He married (2) ALICE B YEAGER. She was born 1875 in KS.

iv.EDITH VAUGHAN, b. 1881, Galena, Cherokee, Kansas.
v.RAYMOND VAUGHAN, b. 1886, Galena, Cherokee, Kansas. He is lested on the 1900 Census withhis sister Dollie E. Vaughan January.
