Alexander's father was William Jordine. All I know about him is that he died in 1790 in South Carolina. Alex's mothers first name may be Grizel.

Alexander's wife was Nancy Dill, daughter of Joseph,Sr and Nancy Dill.

Alex and Nancy had a son, John J Jordan(spelling changed), born 3-19-1802, in Greenville SC.

John married Jane Duke. They had a son named Cicero, born 11-1-1826, in TN. Cicero was himself married 3 times, and his last wife was Mary Shadwick, born 7-7-1840, in MO. They had 3 or 4 children, one of whom was Thomas R Jordan,born in 1880.

Thomas R Jordan had two sons and a few step sons. My husband's grandfather, Rufus Cisro Jordon(spelling changed yet again), was born around 1913. He married Anna, and they lived some in OK and finally in Arkansas. Rufus died at the age of 48 in Prairie Grove, AR of a heart attack.

Rufus and Anna had several children, my husband's father was Cisro Edward Jordon, born Dec 20, 1930, in Greasy Valley, Washington Co., AR. He died Dec 11, 1995 in Prairie Grove, AR much like his father-sudden heart attack. He married Imogene Morgan, born June 15, 1931, in Logan Co,AR. They had one child: (my husband) Edward Gene Jordon, born 22 Aug 1957.

If anyone could help me get more information on Alexander's burial site or obit I would appreciate it. Also any info about William Jordain.
