beverly,
I am still looking for Patrick Johnston of NYC father of Joseph Johnston born 1859 in NYC. Found Joseph in 1920 census, with son from another wife, John M. Joseph is listed as father and mother being born in Ireland. Oral family history has Patrick coming to NY from VA. any clues?

And Dorothy,
My Johnstons are tied in with the Lancaster family also. You would have to
have a James or a John to be in ours, though.
