It would not surprize me on the Smith you mentioned below of DIckson Co TN, I have not followed any research information FORWARD on William Smith married to ? Isham, as I am just now peicing together information on The Seveir Familes who are Cousin's of our Matlock Families who where on Big Creek, with our Hudson Johnson and wife Agness (Hudson Johnson's Known Travel Pattern Buffalo Creek to Big Creek to unknown location in Williamson CO THen in 1803 moved to Lands on Bartons Creek which lated became Dickson CO per first Deed this land was in another Parent Co OF Dickson CO.)
Seems the Seviers were land owners on North Mountian in 1740 ERA, they came from Bruswick Co Lands this is where it is reported the Isham Married the Sevier. I have not cross cehcek the location of lands yet in the area.
The Ishams are married to the Goad (Possible Goode Familes married into our Branch-Archer lines these Goade- Goode researchers are debating this) Abraham Goad is from Northfarnham Parish thou that they all agree upon. Well Seems like the Goads are Cousin's of the Dodson Families of Northfarnham Parish. ( Big Creek and the WIlkes-Ashe Co NC Dodson who are found right beside out Ann Johnson on Hurricane Creek.) By the way The Branch families are known as the First PROTESTANT FAMILY in the COlony of VA from London England
The Ishams are cousin lines of William Randolph and of Adam Symes descendants. William Randolph is first found on Turkey Cocke Creek with Ben Hatcher who signed-witnessed the will of John Watson father of Sarah Watson. Benjamin Hatcher Jr also witnessed this will Turkey Cocke is also the home of our Forefathers families of one LTC Richard Cocke and wife Temperance Bailye and one??? ( Temperance Bailey's lands were in the WEYNOAKE aera which included Wards Creek and lands granted to Sir Thomas Dale)
Now back to North Mountain families this is the home of the Morgan Bryan familes who are married to the Thomas Custice (Thomas Curtice familes) Whose brother they say is one Job Curtis of North Mountain. There is debate on Mary Bryan marring one George Forbes before she married Thomas Custise of PA and moved to North Mountain. but no disagreement it seems on her Daughter Mary Curtis marrying ?? Forbes and moving to Rowan Co NC. I have not yet estbalished where the Bryam-Morgan families exactly lived at in Rowan Co NC Morgan Bryan died there in 1763.
Now the Bryan families is the cousin families of Sarah Boone who is married to our John McElyea families.
Now the Sevier Families went to Washington Co NC and Lands now in Tn. Big Creek and Clinch River. With them went the Joshua Curtis, John Curtis and David Curtis familes of Ashe and Rowan Co NC. These Wilkes and Ashe Co NC Curtis familes are a DNA Match to descendants of Eli Thomas Curtis ( Who me and you are from). The Sevier families are also from lands of North Mountain as is a Curtis family that moved into Rowan Co NC by 1750 ERA. I have not traced descendants of Mary Curtis FORBES (daughter of Mary Bryan and Thomas Curtis as of YEt) BUT NUMEROUS FORBES FAMILIES SHOW UP IN THE JJJDNA Library. The Wilkes and Ashe Co MATCHED DNA Curtis families are found on Valentine Seviers Tax list in Washington Co Tn. A John Curtis was killed along with numerous Sevier family members in an Indian Attack. Sevier are also in Sevier Co TN and in ROane Co TN.
Now back to the William Randolph Families they all descend from Sir Humphrey De Bohun a very POWERFULL Land Owner in ENgland married to one of the line of the PLantagent Families. THis is the same line that we descend from on Sarah Boone married to John McElyea. Of Note All of Willam Randolph's; RANDOLPH family in COlonial Va are from this lines coming off at Richard FitzAllen married Elizabeth De Bohun daughter of William De Bohun and wife Elizabeth de Badlesmere to SIr Humphrey De Bohun and wife Elizabeth Plantagenet whose lands where Rhuddlan Castle, Rhuddlan, Flintshire, Wales
Now this is where it gets interesting for me: Sir THomas Johnson of Northumberland England and Wales, with a son ( Arthur Johnson) in Lincolshire ENgland who inherited some of his lands. Some of The lands- manors that were inherited where first owned by the De Bohun familes. Sir THomas Johnson families are marrie to the Sir Middleton familes whose lands are SHirley Hundred in Colonial Va. Sir THomas Middleton's families are the ALderman-Sheriif of London Robert Johnson families who are also the Sir ?? Smith familes ( of Virginia COmpany, East India Company) The Myddleton lines are the Plumpton lines who are also Land owners in Lincolnshire England this being Sir Robert Plumpton Earl of Lincolnshire this is the Same lines Of Reverend Thomas Mallory involved in Rev. Edward Johnson's will in Colonial York CO Va era of 1655.
AS our DNA COusin Lee Johnson said we do not have a family tree we have a FAMILY WEB. LOL TO MANY INTERMARRIAGES ( Oh yes how is the third eye of yours as you put it LOL on the intermarriages of our Allied familes)

Tony, in this report you have Ann Isham married to William Smith---these would be the grandparents of Bartholomew Smith from Dickson County. He is from Brunswick Co VA.
