I am researching the JOBSON family who emigrated to Australia 1911 from UK. We are descended from Henry Jobson - these Jobsons were from Newark, Horncastle areas of UK and previously Hull where they were boat builders.

Family rumour has it that there is some connection to Sir Francis Jobson Lieutenant of the Tower of London 1564-85 approx. He was married to a Plantagenet, grand daughter of Edward iV.

Any clues...
