My great great grandfather was Hiram's son Absolom. I'm just courious about the source of this information. I have seen John Colter's wife given as Sarah Dye before, but never saw the source. Also, that she was a Cherokee, and Hiram's wife Margaret Davis was Cherokee.

Would appreciate the help.
