1. Charles JENKINS. Born in 1813 in Tennesee. He was in the 1850 White
County, Illinois census with three children. He may have married Rebecca REED
27 May 1834 and Elizabeth HILL 12 May 1852.

iii.Arnold. Born in 1844 in Illinois.

2. Wade Hampton JENKINS. Born in 1841 in Illinois.
Wade Hampton married Angeline BROWN, daughter of William H. BROWN (ca 1800-) &
Nancy UNKNOWN (ca 1800-). Angeline died in 1929; she was Buried in Oakgrove,
Grayville, Edwards County.
They had the following JENKINS children:
i.Charles A.. Born in 1866.
ii.William. Born in 1869 in Illinois.
3iii.Martha A (1871-<1900) married William H. BROWN, son of Riley BROWN &
Betsey CLINKS
iv.John A.. Born in 1872 in Illinois.
4v.Sarah Ann (1872->1920) married Charles William GROMER, son of John
Singleton GROMER
vi.Leander. Born in Oct 1875 in Illinois.
