Is anyone working on the Jay line that was once in Barbados?

Found an old memo by my mother that says something about a GUY JAY ( GEE) that went to the Barbados.. And she states that my Grandfather Thomas Arthur Jay(1868-1941) said that family had Barbados connections.
No proof on any of this so far... Help is needed ...Dixie
