Many countries do not release records to the general public for 75- 100yrs
the USA, Canada and England. and presumably Jamaica follow this standard
However, if you can prove that this is your father, grandfather etc and you
have an approx date of birth and location, you can contact the Registrar for
Births etc and for a fee they will provide you with a birth record
