John Allen Jackson, 80, of San Diego died Wednesday. He was born in Philadelphia and was a security guard for PGW Utility Co. He served in the U.S. military during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Lois Potts, Needy Wells, Carmella Jackson, Carol Massey, Linda Jackson and Valerie Drayton; sons, Mark Davis, Henry Mackey and Bruce and Gary Jackson; sister, Merlena Loper; brothers, Robert and Hilbert Jackson; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Viewing: Noon Tuesday, San Diego Memorial Chapel, 2441 University Ave., San Diego.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, San Diego Memorial Chapel.
