Joanne Looney, Douglasville
Joanne Boles Looney, 56, died Friday, Dec. 5, 1997. Memorial services will
be later. Survivors include a daughter, Sandie Ivester, Douglasville; five
sons, Kenneth Ivester and Steve Ivester, both of Douglasville, David Ivester,
Hartwell, Dale Boles, Royston, and Henry Looney, Greenville,S.C.; two sisters,
Winnie Roach and Corine Christian, both of Royston;seven brothers, George Boles,
Tony Boles, Ray Boles, Gene Boles and Donald Boles, all of Hartwell, and Hugh
Boles and Mack Boles, both of Royston; and six grandchildren. Announcement

Edna M. Marchbanks Ivester, 73, of 304 Miller Road, died Friday, Oct. 13,
2000.

Born in Simpsonville, she was a daughter of the late John Mack and Mary
Elizabeth Bayne Marchbanks. Retired: J.P. Stevens. Faith: Baptist.

Survivors: daughters, Diane Owens of Fountain Inn, Gail Hooker of
Simpsonville and Betty Caseldine of Greenville; one son, Eddie Ivester of Mauldin; two
sisters, Loraine Sammons of Mauldin and Jo Holcombe of Simpsonville; 10
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Service: 4 p.m. today at Cannon Funeral Home-Jones Chapel, Simpsonville, with
burial at Cannon Memorial Park, Fountain Inn.
