Hi Tracy,
Thank you for your research! This web page may be of help. It is what I
came up with and if you click around on the blue underlined names you will
see reports by Mr. Higgins and Mr. Wingrove. They got their information
from me and the Scott family. We tie in together. I got Alexander's info
from the Scott web page that no longer is on the web. I can't prove any of
what they have however for Alexander and his wife. He was on the 1940
census in New York with his family. You can view this on Mr Higgin's page.
The David on the 1950 New Orleans, Louisiana census is my great grandfather.
I just cannot find anything on Alexander or his wife to show where they came
from. Elizabeth Ransom Diackery (there are 2 spellings to this name)was
married before. I can't seem to get anywhere in Europe on research. I'm
not sure where Alexander was born!
