My ancestor, Richard WALSH was born on 27.3.1843 in Co. Offaly. He came to Australia sometime before his marriage to Bridget Mary RYAN (from Doon, Co. Limerick) on 12.5.1863. Bridget arrived in 1854, at the age of 13. Richard and Bridget settled in the Ipswich area, west of Brisbane, his occupation was given as Blacksmith's Striker. He died on 20.4.1911 and is buried in Ipswich Cemetery in an unmarked grave. It's not known who his parents were, or the name of the ship on which he travelled to Queensland.

Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Is SKS able to tell me the best way to find out who Richard's parents and siblings were? Any information would be much appreciated.
