Pat,
I'm not sure which RC church might have been used by Ballinlabaun residents,
but the townland is located two miles west of Crossmolina town, on both sides
of the N 59 highway between Crossmolina and Bangor. There is (and was) also
an RC church in the townland of Kilmurry More (cryptically identified as
Rakestreet on the current Discovery map), a bit less than two miles SSE of
Ballinlabaun. The road connection was probably not so convenient and there
was a river to cross.......but this church is a possibility in addition to
the one in Crossmolina itself.
