I believe that there is some confusion here and I will attempt to sort it
out.

Jan is responsible for Fermanagh-GOLD and this list FERMANAGH-GOLD. She is
retiring the website http://www.fermanagh.org.uk but NOT this list. She
feels that she no longer has the time to look after the website and that it
has become stale hence requiring to much work to revitalize.

I look after the Fermanagh Internet Genealogy Project (IGP) website and the
IRL-FERMANAGH list. These are NOT closing. Much of the information contained
on Fermanagh GOLD is available on the IGP site at:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nirfer2.

I believe that Jan would appreciate a co-administrator for the
Fermanagh-Gold list to lessen her burden.

If anything that was previously available on Fermanagh-GOLD and is not on
the IGP site. Let us know and someone can submit it to me for posting.

I do appreciate when people can send me information in advance so it can be
posted rather than clogging up the lists with requests for it as of lately
for maps. Once it is posted, I will advise where to obtain it on the site
along with acknowledgement to the submitter.
