a book called That Toddlin' Town By Charles A. Sengstock mentions Lawrence Welk
at the Trianon and the North Side Ballroom. He said LW played at the Trianon so
often his band almost became a house band. The book has some other interesting
information on ballrooms in Chicago.



I also saw this on another website, someone recalling childhood memories and
mentioning the Aragon (Lawrence Welk), at Lawrence Avenue and Broadway on the
north side.
