Sarah,
I found a George E. Fleming, born in Chicago (no date) who married Katherine Walsh in Van Buren, Michigan on Oct 20, 1905 and his parents are listed as John Fleming and Kate Butler. Is he yours?

Patti

Bill: John Fleming died in 1917 and I do have his death certificate. Thanks for your time and trouble. I do have an LDS church in my little town and have spent bundles going through film of various Catholic churches in Chicago during the time my people arrived. I think I have pretty much done everything I can. I can trace John back to 1880 for sure in Chicago. That maybe what I will have to be satisfied with. I don't know for sure what County in Ireland he came from. His father was James Fleming and according to his death certificate he was married to a 'Daly' ..first name not known. I don't even know what county he is from. I was just hoping you very knowledgeable people could look through all this and tell me I have exhausted all my options., or better yet, is there another one I haven't thought of. Thanks again Bill for your input. > Date: Wed, 12 Mar 2008 21:18:49 -0500> From: > To: > Subject:
