RICHARD J. CAHILL, CHICAGO, sick in hospital when the British entered
Pretoria
made prisoner and sent to Ceylon
JOHN RILEY, BOSTON, wounded at the battle of Dalmantha; taken
prisoner by
the British and sent to St Helena
DR. A. F. CONROY, CHICAGO, taken prisoner near Pretoria; sent to Cape
Town
and thence to Portsmouth, England, where he was released a month ago
RICHARD MORRISSEY, CHICAGO, sick in hospital when the British entered
Pretoria; taken prisoner, but subsequently made his escape
HUGH B RYAN, CHICAGO, employed onsecret service by the Boer government;
arrested, made his escape
