CHICAGO CELTIC CULTURAL COUNCIL
will sponsor a lecture on "Mr Dooley's Chicago" at 8pm
Friday in the Lake Shore Club, 850 N Lake Shore Dr.
Author BARBARA HOWARTH will discuss her book on the
political and social background or the Spanish American War
era in which Finely Peter Dunne wrote most of his famous
"Mr Dooley" sketches.

Chicago Tribune April 20, 1978 Community Events

CHICAGO CELTIC CULTURAL COUNCIL
will offer an afternoon of Irish culture from noon to 5pm
Saturday in the auditorium of the Science Building, North Shore
campus of Loyola University, Sheridan Road and Devon
Avenue. Speakers will include ALF MACLOCHLAINN,
director of the National Library of Ireland and BRIAN FARRELL,
lecture in politics at University College, Dublin, Admission is $6.00.
