Her maiden name was DOHERTY--Brother in Dublin, JOHN DOHERTY
496 NO Circular Rd, Dublin.

Elizabeth, age 30, was born in Lurgan, children born Belfast:
John 7, Kathleen 5, Ellen 3, and adopted child JAME NEIL age 9, born

I noticed the "adopted child" and know how hard these orphans can be
to trace.

By 1930 they had moved to 822 West 54th St (probably Visitation Parish)
John (b No Ire) was working for a Freight Express Co. He was 35 and
had immigrated in 1922.
Elizabeth was employed as a maid for a hotel. They had one more
son, Joseph, age 4y3m b Illinois.
The adopted son, age 15, was now known as James N. Caffrey. Ellen is
now called Eileen.
John and Kathleen are still at home.

Elizabeth died in 1973
