Subject: [IRISH-IN-CHICAGO] Reardon/Riordan

Hello Nan and Carmen,

I thought I should change the subject line because I am responding with

In Chicago, I have................

Johanna Mason (possibly a sister to my gr grandfather)
m. Thomas Halloran 10/20/1878 at St. James RC Church by the Rev. P. J.

Thomas Halloran immigrated c.1860 Ireland
Johanna Mason immigrated c.1861 Co. Clare, Ireland

This couple did not have any children, but in the 1880 census they have
the following nephews living with them...............

Reardon, Eddie 15 yrs. b. NY
Reardon, Ptk. 11 yrs. b. NY

1900 census has the following living in the Thomas Halloran

Riordan, Edward nephew b.6/1867 NY
Riordan, Mary god child/grandchild ??
b. 1/1893 IL
FYI: also living in this household.....................
Josephine Morrisey b. 6/1882 IL niece
Thomas Morrisey b. 6/1884 IL nephew

1910 census has the following in the Halloran household................

Riordan, Edward J. m. twice 45 yrs. b. NY
Riordan, Mary E. m. twice 45 yrs. b. West VA
Riordan, Marion/Mary 16 yrs. b. IL daughter of Edw.

FYI: I have no record of Patrick Reardon since the 1880 census.

Hope this of some help in your research. If you see a connection, please
contact me.

Nan, I'm still not having any luck with Thomas Reardon from Tipperary.
Without knowing his wife's name every Thomas I've tracked down has been a
dead end.

Would obituaries help? Something that would mention Tipperary or his parents
Johanna (Breen) & Edmond (Edmund) and maybe siblings listed in the obit
(John, Jeremiah (Providence), Edmond, Mary & Johanna.
