Kathy,

I did not see the marriage you seek in the Illinois online marriage index to
1900.

You can have the IRAD offices (Illinois State Archives) do a search. They
will charge copy fees only.

Have you checked what the Illinois State Archives include? Marriages for
Cook County and Chicago would be at North Eastern Illinois University in
Chicago. You can access what records they store at the following website. If they
have this record, the website will give you ordering directions. If they
don't, you can request the record search from the Cook County records office.
Depending on the date of the marriage license, the church and priest's name
may be on the marriage license - especially if the marriage is around 1900 or
earlier.
