Very interesting discussion. I'm from Chicago & I knew nothing about the
Irish Catholics not being allowed to be buried within the city limits. When
was this & why? I know they were buried in the Chicago City Cemetery, what is
now Lincoln Park, & when that closed many were reburied in Calvary. I've
heard stories that the Irish were treated badly but again, why? Any information
on these subjexts would be appreciated. Thanks, KJR
