Subject: [Irish in Chicago] Gorman, McNally, Dempsey
Date: Thu, 5 Dec 2002 23:37:49 EST

Hi: I've been researching several Irish names in Chicago as listed in the
subject line. The Gorman's emigrated from County Monaghan about 1887, The
McNally line was in Albany, New York prior to Chicago (1860's) and the
Dempsey line came from County Cavan about 1860. All of them lived on the
South Side around St. James and St. Columbanus parishes.

Where would I find the naturalization papers for Irish Immigrants? Thanks,
