Thanks for the opportunity to post my family interests.

JAMES MURPHY, b. about 1834, Townland of Bargy Commons or Forth Commons, Co. Wexford emigrated to Chicago probably in the 1850's. Married CATHERINE (KATE).

CATHERINE (KATE) EDWARDS, born 1832, Forth Commons, Co. Wexford, emigrated to Chicago probably in 1853, possibly with her father, James Edwards and brother, Patrick.

JAMES and CATHERINE had 9 children in Chicago. Two were called John; one of whom died at age 15 months in 1869; the other no details. Other children in order were: Anna Elizabeth, b.1861; James Myles, b. 1862 (possibly 1860); Katherine, b. 1866; Delia, b. 1870; Margaret, b. 1871; William J., b. 1874; and, Anastasia, b. 1876.

Anna (Annie) married a MICHAEL F. BERGEN in 1883 and they had 6 children. James Myles was a bachelor; Katherine (Kate) married a HENRY S. WALKER; Delia married a THOMAS MURPHY and had three sons who became priests and one daughter who became a nun; Margaret was a spinister who died at age 21; William J. was a bachelor; and Anastasia became Sister M. Margaret of the Sisters of Mercy.

Would much appreciate any information anyone might have about these ancestors and their descendants. I've hit a number of brick walls, especially with JAMES MURPHY.
