I have recently obtained the book, Irish Relatives and Friends, compiled
by Laura Murphy DeGraia and Diane Fitzpatrick Haberstroh. It lists the
advertisements printed under the "Information Wanted" section of the
Irish-American Newspaper that was printed in New York. The ads cover a
period of 1850 to 1871 but 1860 is not included.

I am willing to do lookups for this list from now until 6pm PST
Sunday. Please send your name to the list (do not send it to me off
list) and I will answer on the list. The ads are interesting. Many
mention areas in Ireland plus areas in the US plus other family
members. Each lookup has to be for a FULL name, both first and last
names or I will ignore the request. Also, just put the name(s) in the
email, with nothing else. I expect to get many requests and will not
have time to read lengthy emails.

PS If you are looking for my surname -- O'Connor, Connors, etc. I have
the data on my website. So, please check there first and then give me
the date you are interested in.
