7) Becky A. WERNER
(April 3, 1952 - September 3, 2007)
Becky A. WERNER, age 55 of Batesville, Indiana, died Monday, September 3,
2007 at her
home. Born in Hamilton, Ohio in 1952, she is the daughter of Charlotte (Nee:
NISTLER and
Albert ORSCHELL. She married Dale WERNER on September 16, 1978 at St. Michael’
s
Catholic Church in Brookville, Indiana.
Becky was a buyer specialist/purchasing agent for the Hill-Rom Co. for 28
years. She was a
member of the Oldenburg Academy Development Board and a long time volunteer
for the
Muscular Dystrophy Association.
She is survived by her husband Dale; sons Phillip and Christopher WERNER,
both of Batesville;
mother Charlotte Orschell of Brookville; sisters Marlene (Doug) FLASPOHLER of
Brookville,
Melanie (Terry) FLASPOHLER of Brookville; brothers Andrew (Lori) ORSCHELL of
Columbus,
Indiana and Marty (Kathy) ORSCHELL of Brookville. In addition to her father,
she was preceded
in death by her daughter Emily WERNER.
Visitation is Friday, September 7th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with
a prayer service
at 4 p.m. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8th, at the
Srs. of St. Francis
Chapel in Oldenburg, Indiana, with Rev. Carl HAWVER, O.F.M. officiating.
Burial will be in the
Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the
Becky A. WERNER
Scholarship Fund at the Oldenburg Academy.

8) Sr. Naomi FREY, O.S.F.
(September 10, 1929 - August 28, 2007)
Sr. Naomi FREY O.S.F., formerly Sr. Thomas Ann FREY, age 77, died Tuesday,
August 28, 2007,
at the Srs. of St. Francis Convent. Born September 10, 1929 in Cincinnati,
Ohio, she is the
daughter of Edna (Nee: BUCHERT) and Norbert FREY. She entered the convent on
February 2,
1949 and professed her final vows August 12, 1954.
Sr. Naomi was a teacher and principal at several schools in Indiana, Illinois
and Montana. She
spent 35 years in Papua New Guinea teaching, as well as, Pastoral Ministry,
lecturing and
consulting, before retiring to the Motherhouse in 1997.
Survivors include her sisters Rita OWENS of Cleves, Ohio, Patricia SCOTT of
Dearborn, Michigan;
brothers Donald FREY and Br. Thomas FREY, C.S.C., both of Austin, Texas and
Paul FREY of
Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by her brother Cal
FREY.
Visitation is Thursday, August 30th, from 1–3 p.m. at the Motherhouse Chapel
in Oldenburg.
Funeral services follow at 3 p.m., with Rev. Carl HAWVER, O.F.M. officiating.
Burial will be in
the St. Francis Cemetery in Oldenburg. Memorials may be made to the Srs. of
St. Francis, P.O.

9) Helenrose M. DOYLE
(September 12, 1931 - August 25, 2007)
Helenrose M. “Fuzzy” DOYLE, age 75 of Batesville, Indiana, died Saturday,
August 25, 2007,
at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born September 12, 1931, in
Batesville, she is
the daughter of Rose (Nee: KOEBBE) and Louis ENZINGER. She married John DOYLE
on July 9,
1955, at St. Louis Church.
Fuzzy was a homemaker and an Avon representative for 15 years. She was also a
member
of St. Louis Church and the St. Louis Ladies Society, volunteering her time
in numerous
capacities through the years. She is survived by her husband John; daughter
Pat DOYLE of
Batesville; son Jon DOYLE of Batesville; brothers Paul ENZINGER of
Batesville, Bill ENZINGER of Bloomington, Louie ENZINGER of Batesville; granddaughter
Jana DOYLE and grandson Eric
DOYLE. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her
sister Mary MOODY.
Visitation is Wednesday, August 29th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with
a rosary service
will at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Thursday, August 30th, at St.
Louis Church and
burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’
s Association.

10) Sr. Cecilia SCROEDER O.S.F.
(November 9, 1938 - August 25, 2007)
Sr. Cecilia SCROEDER O.S.F., formerly Sr. Justine SCHROEDER, died Saturday,
August 25, 2007,
at the Srs. of St. Francis Convent. Born November 9, 1938 in Greensburg,
Indiana, she is the
daughter of Charlotta (Nee: STIER) and Gregory SCHROEDER. She entered the
convent
September 8, 1958 and professed her final vows August 12, 1964.
Sr. Cecilia taught at several schools in Indiana and Ohio until 1990. Since
then, she has taken
over several duties at the Motherhouse including Core Member of House of
Resurrection, funeral
home ministry, assistant grounds keeper at the Motherhouse and secretary for
the office of
Personnel Services/Life Development.
Survivors include her sisters Margaret (Leonard) MAUER, Catherine (Louis)
MAUER and Teresa
(James) Horan, all of Greensburg; brothers David of Indianapolis, Indiana,
Justin of Rushville,
Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is
also preceded in
death by her sister Sr. Rose Mary SCHROEDER O.S.F. and brothers Paul,
Charles, Carl, Louis and
James.
Visitation is Tuesday, August 28th, from 3-7 p.m. at the Motherhouse in
Oldenburg, with funeral services following at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the
Srs. of St. Francis, P.O. Box 100,
Oldenburg, IN, 47036.

11) Robert L. KOEHNE
(July 7, 1944 - August 14, 2007)
Robert L. KOEHNE, age 63 of Enochsburg, Indiana, died Tuesday, August 14,
2007, at his home.
Born July 7, 1944 in Batesville, Indiana, he is the son of Mary Lou (Nee:
STICH) and Mark
KOEHNE. He married Deborah BOHMAN on June 19, 1971 at St. John's Church in
Enochsburg.
Bob served in the Nation Guard following his graduation from high school.
After the service, he
ran KOEHNE Dairy for 20 years, delivering milk and dairy products and later
worked at Printpack
in Greensburg for 20 years. He also farmed for 40 years and was a member of
the Prell-Bland
American Legion Post #271 and St. John's Church.
Survivors include his wife Debbie; sons Chris and Kevin, both of Enochsburg;
sister Mary DELAY of Lewisville, Indiana; brothers Richard of Batesville,
William of Enochsburg and grandson Jack. In
addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister Rita Mae
KOEHNE.
Visitation is Friday, August 17th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a
rosary service at
7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Saturday, August 18th, at St. John's
Church in Enochsburg.
Rev. Gregory BRAMLAGE will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery
and military graveside
rites will be conducted by the Prell-Bland American Legion and the Batesville
V.F.W. Post #3183. Memorials may be made Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital or
the St. John's Church renovation
fund.

12) Jason P. LUERS
(November 12, 1974 - August 3, 2007)
Jason P. LUERS, age 32 of Batesville, died Friday, August 3, 2007 in Dayton,
Ohio. Born
November 12, 1974 in Batesville, he is the son of Pat (Nee: METZ) and Jerry
LUERS of Morris,
Indiana.
Jason was a shipping clerk for Batesville Tool and Die. In addition to his
parents, he is also
survived by brothers Jeff LUERS of Batesville, Jeremy LUERS of Cincinnati;
grandfather Wilbur
LUERS of Versailles; two nephews and one niece.
Visitation is Tuesday, August 7th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral
home. Funeral services
follow at 1 p.m., and burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at Morris.
Memorials may be made
to Batesville E.M.S. 10.

13) John L. REDDISH
(September 25, 1939 - August 2, 2007)
John L. REDDISH, age 67 of Sunman, Indiana, died Thursday, August 2, 2007, at
his residence.
Born September 25, 1939, in Waveland, Indiana, he is the son of Evelyn (Nee:
RICE) and William REDDISH. He married Patricia ANDREWS October 14, 1962, at
Ben DAVIS Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
John served in the marines from 1957-1960. After his discharge, he opened the
trucking
company REDDISH Inc., and was owner-operator for 42 years, before retiring.
He was a member
of the Sunman Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife Pat, daughters Gina REDDISH KERN of Milan,
Indiana, Gerri REDDISH of
Sunman, Lana REDDISH James of Speedway, Indiana; sisters Mary BRUIN of
Indianapolis, Lois
CLONCS of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Kathryn MASRSHALL of Crawfordsville,
Carolyn FULLEN of Brownsburg, Indiana; brothers James REDDISH of Rushville,
Indiana, Don REDDISH of Russellville,
Indiana and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation is Sunday, August 5th, from 1-5 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in
Batesville, Indiana. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, August 6th, at the
funeral home, with Rev. Sterling Cauble officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul
’s cemetery in Sunman, with military graveside rites conducted
by the Batesville V.F.W. Post #3183 and the Prell-Bland American Legion Post
#271. Memorials
may be made to Hospice of Margaret Mary or the Hansen Cancer Center.
