Hello from Australia,

I'm new to this list but have been tracing both my and my husband's
ancestors for many years.

My husband's 2 greats Paternal Grandfather was Andrew Innes
(1818/1824-1878) and I believe him to have been the son of Andrew Innes
(1785 Duddingston, Midlothian- 1863 Portobello) and Jean (nee
Flooker/Flocker/Flockhard (1799-1866 Edinburgh.).

Other siblings included: Ann (1805), James (1810), George (1812), Jean
(1814), Helen (1819) and William (1822). Ann married Graham Muirhead in
1824, James married (1) Janet Ballantyne in 1841 and then (2) Agnes
Weightman in 1871, and George married Margaret Ritchie in 1838. Andrew
came to Australia where he met Sarah Baldwin, and they had 6 children, 5
daughters and one son. Both Andrew and Sarah died at Goulburn, NSW.

I believe Andrew senior to have been a teacher living in Duddingston in
the 1841/51/61 Census.
