Hi Julie,

Eleanor's parents were Sidney and Susan Mathews. I do not know Susan's maiden name. I know from census records that both parents were born in New York State. I don't know where they lived between New York and Indiana. Eleanor had two brothers, David and William R. Also a sister Elizabeth. All the Children in the family were born in Michigan but in 1860 the family was found living in Lagrange County, Indiana.
