Tuesday March 20, 1888 The Morning star News, Rockford, Illinois.

John G. Clicks residence was the scene of a pleasant gathering last evening.
Mrs. J.E. Antes, very quietly and unknown to her husband, Joe, who has just
returned from a commercial trip. Among the guest were S. Brumbaugh, Fred A.
Smith, L. E. Foltz, W. Huffman, Frank Worthington, Frank Hough, Geo.
Perkins, Geo. Wilkins and wife, Miss Illa Irvine, Miss. Haviland of
Pequaning, Mich. Mary Hough, Ella Wolford and Francis Chick. Refreshments
were served and the evening pleasantly spent with the completely surprised
Joe.
