I wonder if anyone on this list has information on the family of Samuel
Gibson (1785-1836) who married Molly McClurkin. They came from South Carolina to
Washington County in the early 1830s. I have the names of several children,
and notes that some of them may have married into the Dickey family, but not
much else.

Samuel Gibson was the brother of my g-g-grandfather Robert Gibson (1792-1852)
who married Mary Glenn Park in SC and also came to Washington County in the
early 1830s and is buried at Old Salem.
