I'm still looking for info on Harrison DEARING. He is on the 1860 Census for
Menard
Co., IL, Sweetwater PO. He is listed as 37yrs, b KY. Wife Charity, 31, b TN.
Children James b KY, John, Sarah, George, Robert, Mary, all b IL. He married
(1) Elizabeth Lewis (no other info) (2) Charity Wright (no other info)
(3) Elizabeth Hicks, 1875, Cass Co., IL. I am trying to connect him with my
known DEARING family as a child of John DEARING b VA 1793, m (1) Margaret (or
Margery)
MCROBERTS,1821 in Fleming Co., KY (2) Sarah Harmon 1840, Fleming Co.,KY. One
known child, John Franklin Dearing b 1833, Fleming Co., KY. He m Sarah Ann
Hickey Cass Co., IL, 1858. John and John Franklin both listed on the 1860
Census for Richmond PO, Cass Co., IL on neighboring farms, having moved there
from Fleming Co., KY between 1850 and 1853. Any information will be greatly
appreciated.
