barbershop. The building was torn down several years ago and is now a city
park. He died shortly after we moved to Marshall, which is my Mother's
hometown, in 1938. As far as Hurst, my uncle's neighbor was a Lish Hurst.
His wife was a good friend of my aunt and I remember Mrs. Hurst guarded her
recipes very diligently. She did share some with my aunt. They had at
least one son, Harvey, who died several years ago. He had two children, a
son and a dau.. Thedaughter still lives in Marshall, Mary Lou Wernz. I
