I am new to your list. I am researching TATE that lived in Albia, Monroe
Co., IA
James TATE, b. 1805 (probably KY), d. 9 5 1868 in Albia. His wife's name was
Sarah ?, b. 1806, d. 8/12/1870; One of their children was William TATE, b.
1832, KY, d. 4/24/1868 in Albia, IA.

William TATE m. Nancy THOMAS, Rush Co., IN. Nancy b. 2/16/1833, d. 6/8/1919,
Anthony, Harper Co., KS. After TATE's death she remarried Michael Sigfried
DE TAR. Children of TATE and THOMAS were Lucinda TATE, b. 1854, Albia, IA,
d. c1919 probably in KS; Marcus Edward TATE, b 5/18/1856, Albia, IA, d.
8/11/1936, ElMonte, LA Co., CA; Emma TATE, b May 1860, Albia, IA, d.
2/2/1889, probably Hanford, Kings Co., CA

Lucinda TATE m.Edgar J. PYLE, 7/31/1873, Johnson Co., KS. PYLE was b. c1854.
Their children were Will PYLE, b. c1890, KS; Ida PYLE, b. c1893, KS; Charley
PYLE, b. c1896, KS: Maude PYLE, b. c1897, KS, d. c1983, KS; May PYLE b.
c1900, KS, d. KS. May PYLE married Clyde E. HOPPER, b. c1900, d. c1985, KS.

Upland, CA, d. 11/13/1980, MorroBay, SLO Co., CA. They had one daughter, me!

Do I have any kinfolk out there? Anyone that can fill me in on the TATE
family?
