Haldor Johnson(1829-1899) son of Jon Mikkelson and Marita Jonsdater emigrated from Norway 1857 and married Isabella Holeson in Palmyra Illinois 1860. In 1870 census they had 7 children and lived in Alto,Lee,Illinois, by 1875-76 they lived in Scott, Hanilton, Iowa with the 8 child Bertha,born in Ellsworth,Iowa in 1876. She was my grandmother. I want to veirify Haldor's wife's name and where she came from in Norway, parents etc. Also, in 1870 census oldest child is Anna, born in Norway about 1856. Did Anna emigrate with her mother? Is she his child?
