Subject: Index to Keck Funeral Home Records 1912-1924

NEW!!!!
The Keck Funeral Home has given us permission to publish the Index Only
to the
1912-1937 Funeral Home Records. Mary Louise Phillips spent many hours
transcribing the records that had been kept on the backs of old checks
at the funeral
home in Wapello. The years from 1912 to 1924 have been loaded and the
rest will
follow as soon as completed.

1912-1916;
1917-1918;
1919-1920;
1921-1922;
1923-1924

The text format used for the hard copy Index has to be converted to HTML

code and entered into tables .before they can be posted so please be
patient
while I accomplish this task .

The site search engine may start searching these records in the next few
days
so the ones that are completed have been linked to the index page of
the
Louisa County website while I complete the other years 1925-1937. If
you
want to manually search the years above before they are recognized by
the
search engine, they are alphabetized within each year. You may use the
links
above to access them. Once the work is completed I will have a copy of
the
actual records themselves indexed on my site for lookups but for the
time
being, you will need to write to the Louisa County Genealogical Society
or go
to one of the libraries to see the actual books that have been compiled
as I do
not have time to do lookups right now. The Funeral Home has asked us to

NOT publish the entire records on line so only the Index can be
published.
