Eagle Point WAS the name of a street, Nancy.
I know it was renamed but I don't know to what.

I have run across Eagle Point Avenue again and again in the census data
and city directories. It states that Sacred Heart Church is on it.
I grew up one street over from Xavier Hospital
and went to Sacred Heart, got married there, but I can't remember
the name of the street that SH faces. (The priest house was facing
Windsor).

Somebody wrote that they thought it was changed to Kaufmann Ave,
but I don't think that is correct since Kaufmann is several blocks
from Sacred Heart. I think that might have been what was originally COULER
.

Anyone else???

Eagle Point Ave is not the name of a street in Dubuque; Rhomberg Ave runs
near the river area to end at Eagle Point area where the lock and dam are
located and where Eagle Point Park overlooks the river. Windsor Ave crosses
over Rhomberg, goes past Sacred Heart Catholic church and ends at the old
Xavier Hospital running past Linwood Cemetery. I grew up on a street off of
Windsor. Nancy
