I have found a marriage record for a Olof Cervin and Matilda Person in Calhoun County, Iowa on July 14, 1900. Olof was married originally to Hanna Persdotter in Sweden. She died shortly after their immigration from Sweden to the US- iowa area in 1882.
Olof was born November 4, 1825 in Sweden - so he would have been 75 at the date of his second marriage! I'm only assuming by the date that his second wife, Matilda would have been older and on her second marriage as well.
I am Olof's great great great grandaughter! He was in the census of 1900 in Montgomery County, Iowa - in Stanton. So, he quickly moved up to Calhoun to be married.
