clayton hurt was my ggggrandfather. he was born in bedford, virginia, in 1790, according to sources. there is no information as to whom his parents were. moses and ruth were there in bedford at that time. were they his grandparents? i know three of their male children went to south carolina for a time and then ended up in kentucky, wayne and adair county. clayton was married to mary ann dillard about 1814 in wayne, kentucky. there has to be a connection, but i am stumped! might anyone be able to help me out??
