I can help with your Zipporah (aka Zepporah) COLES. She was b. 1818 in Warren Co, Ohio. Zipporah's parents were Robert Baker COLES, b. 1781 in Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY, d. abt 1842 (letters of administration granted for settlement of his estate 17 October 1842 in Warren Co, Ohio), and Mary RUSSELL, b. 1788 in Oyster Bay, NY, d. 8 May 1863 in Warren, Huntington Co, IN.
Zipporah's siblings, all children of Robert Baker COLES and Mary RUSSELL:
Eliza COLES, b. 1806, NY; d. young
Joseph COLES, b. 13 Dec 1808, NY, d. 3 Nov 1867 in Warren, Huntington IN; m. Clara DUNHAM; 13 children
Eliza Ann COLES, b. 1813 in Warren Co, Ohio, d. bet. 1850-1860; m. Henry George STITES, his 3rd of 4 wives. (2nd wife was Harriet HUPP, a sister of your John HUPP who m. Zipporah COLES); 2 children
Mary Jane COLES, b. 1816 in Warren Co, Ohio, d. 8 Nov 1884, Warren, Huntingon Co, Indiana; m. Martin Davy; no known children
Henry COLES, b. 1817 in Warren Co, Ohio; nothing further
Zipporah COLES, b. 1818; details above
Robert COLES, b. 1825, Union Twp, Warren Co, Ohio, d. abt 1827
Sarah COLES, b. 1830, Salem Twp, Warren Co, Ohio; nothing further
I do not know whether either Henry or Sarah lived to maturity, married or had children. I have been searching for more detail on these 2 siblings without success to date.
My line is from Joseph COLES and Clara DUNHAM.
I have much more on the COLES and allied lines if interested.
