John Hupp born about 1846 in St. Joseph County, Indiana, son of Michael Hupp and Caroline Sager (Saeger), died 27 Nov 1907 in Lakeville, Union Twp., St. Joseph Co., Indiana. Married Augusta Catherine Hoople 03 Jul 1865 in Williamsburgh, Virginia. John worked as a farmer in Lakeville and was Post Master of the Lakeville United States Post Office. John had 4 brothers and 4 sisters all born in St. Joseph County, Indiana and their names are: Alonson; Charles; William; Mary; Elizabeth; Amanda; Erastus; Virginia (Jennie). I have never seen a picture of my great grandfather John Hupp. Pictures of the family have been passed down to me but there are no names!!! If you have any pictures or information, please contact me, Stephen Crawford Hupp. The pictures and/or information will be greatly appreciated.
