EMERY E. "BILL" BARRAS
Emery E. "Bill" Barras, 84, of Edgewood passed away May 19 in Edgewood with his loving family beside him.
Emery was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Jeanetta, Pa., to James E. and Mary E. (Ruffner) Barras. Emery married Fay M. Hupp on Feb. 6, 1944. He was a truck driver for Yellow Freight and lived in Edgewood for more than 12 years, coming from Phoenix, Ariz.
He is survived by his sons, Alan E. and wife Sharon Barras of California, Ronald D. and wife Nancy Barras, and William D. and wife Lisa Barras; daughter, Patricia Dendy of Albuquerque; brother, Robert Barras of Pennsylvania; sisters, Susan Ray and Goldie Milliron of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Emery was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Barras, and a brother, James Barras.
Cremation was entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary, Moriarty.
