John Hupp (ca 1815-1847) was the son of John Hupp (1778-1839) and Hannah Horner (1786-1816). His grandparents were Everhart Hupp (ca 1745-1824) and Margaret Thomas (1751-????). John married Hannah Spohn (1818-1887), daughter of Rev. John Spohn (ca 1775-1857) and Judith Wise (????-1821). They had 2 children - (1) Eli Hupp b. ca 1844; (2) Mary Hupp b. ca 1846. Sometime after John's death, Hannah went to Ohio, where she remained until her death.

John Hupp was a half-brother to my gg grandfather, Uriah Hupp (1827-1911). Uriah's mother was Barbara Jane Stull (1785-1843).

Michael Hupp was a brother of John's father, John.
