Tim,
I have Joshua in the census living with many siblings and who I presume to be the mother. Do you know when and where the father died? I cannot find this info.

I am also confused as to why the newspaper article list four children for Amzi and Meg; two girls and two boys. We of course have all of Dewey's info since my grandmother knew him. But one of the grandchildren say there were three girls, not an additional boy, Carl, as identified in the paper.
Can you help me locate resources? I have pretty much searched all I can until I get to the court house.
