The reference to Mrs. Orson Fox is strange. In 1870 and 1880, Orson is married to Eliza(beth), a native of Ireland. I suspect she is probably the sister of of Isabella Johnson/Johnston (William I. Hupp's wife). In 1860, Orson Fox is in the Weaverville census (as a miner, age 35), but he is not listed with a wife, so I guess he had not yet married Eliza(beth). Maybe whoever wrote the John G. Sanburn bio got confused about Fox's wife's relation to the Hupp. Do we know when Eliza(beth) died? Could one of the Hupp sisters have been a later wife of Orson's?
