Has there ever been a connection established between Caspar Hupp and Peter Hoop? The time frame is the early to mid 1700s in the Shenendoah Co area of VA. In some records I find a Caspar Hupp also listed as Philip Caspar Hupp. Sometimes the last name has been spelled Hoop which is my ancestor's surname. The Caspar I've seen listed had several children including a son Balsar. There is conflicting info on Peter Hoop including the possibility that he is the brother of Caspar Hupp/ Hoop. No birthdate on Peter Hoop available but he died March 6, 1773.
