Hi Listers,

I am the new list administrator, at least until Erin gets
time to return. Here is my earliest immigrant ancestor, born
in Germany.

Johann Gaspar (or variation) HOPFF/HUPP, came to America in
1753 on the ship Eastern Branch, landing in Philadelphia. I
am descended from his son, Samuel, born 1772 VA. Does anyone
have information on this family? I have a lot of information
on descendants and will be happy to share.
