I'm making an end run around my brick wall, Simon and Patience Gregory Drake.

I'm looking for the men who were in Manti, UT in 1954 and 1955 and stood as
proxy for the Thomas M. Pritchett submissions of North Carolina marriages for
ordination at the Manti Temple. One was John W. Clarke, one Noall Clarke,
the other named Jerry J. Huntsman, along with a few other names of proxies,
Oleson, Johnson, and other single entries. Clarke and Huntsman had the most
numerous proxies.

My great great grandparents, Simon Drake and Patience Gregory, were bonded to
marry in Wake Co., NC 1817. They were listed in Thomas M. Pritchett's list
and "in law" was added to this entry.
This was the only Drake marriage in the submission, but other Gregory
marriages were, along with many Rice marriages.
I would very much like to get in touch with Graig Huntsman or Joy Huntsman
Clarke to see if they have any further information on the submission by
Thomas M. Pritchett.

Craig and Joy were listed as sources for Thomas Mitchell Pritchett, but this
man was born in 1845 and could not have been the Thomas M. Pritchett who
entered the submissions in Manti Temple in 1954. They may be, however,
descendants or related to Thomas M. Pritchett, 1954.
